Get Your Business In Shape

Calling all business owners in fitness and wellness.....

I have teamed up with Bonnie Chan and Dr. James Fung for a great afternoon of learning to kick start your business and get it in shape.

Get your business in shape
These powerful workshops are specifically designed for business owners and sales staff in the fitness and wellness industries.

3 parts to this resourceful afternoon
a) No Dollars Marketing - join Cheryl Rankin (Fit For Business) for this interactive workshop to learn how to connect with your target market, choose a message and choose a media.  Stretch your marketing dollars with lots of tips on how to market with little or no money.  Cheryl took a fitness centre in Ottawa from 200 to 3000 members in 5 years, doubled the profits of a downtown Boston facility and tripled a facility's best-ever January results.

b) Turning cardboard pieces into $100 bills - Bonnie Chan (Network To Grow)
What would it be like to know that everyone you talked to was worth $ to you? How do you ensure that you have new clients walking in the door every single week, every single month, every single year? A proven system, with thousands of people already using it successfully. We will spend time creating a whole new point of view of networking, connecting and following up with every person you meet.

c) Adding other revenue streams to your business - Dr. James Fung (Complete Balance Health) will lead a discussion on how to incorporate other revenue streams into your business.

Speaking Opportunities

Do you have anything to share? Can you help other people by giving a presentation?

If you have something positive to share then get out there and do it. Have you spoken to your own networking group? Does your networking group have other chapters?

To get more speaking engagements:
1. Finish your speaking engagements by telling people that you would like more speaking opportunities.
2. Ask in your 1 minute introductions.
3. Tell people where you have spoken and it might help them think of a new opportunity for you.
4. Write about your speaking engagements in your blog, newsletter or web-site.

Recently I spoke for the City Of Toronto's Enterprise Toronto program and I am scheduled to speak to a group of business owners in the Town Of Ajax. When I told a business friend that I was excited about these opportunities, she booked me to speak to her group in March.

If you know any business groups that would like a speaker who can share ideas on how to grow your business, marketing and/or sales, then please pass along my name.

Thank you,
Cheryl Rankin

New Networking

Networking is a great way to market your company thanks to the personal touch and of course the power of word of mouth marketing. Are all of the networking events the same these days?

It is up to you to make each networking event useful. The easiest and fastest way to get results from networking events is to help other people.

Find out what type of people they want to meet and help to introduce them to others in the room. You now have two people who will remember you and in tunr also try to help you. Sometimes a good idea for someone else is just as good as your sales pitch for your own business. They will remember you and in turn will try to use your services or give you a referral.

A happy client tells one or two people about your business, while a grumpy one tells thirteen people. Even a contact at a networking event who is pleased with your help will tell one or two more people about your business. Be memorable for good reasons - help other people when you see them at networking events.

Use networking to grow your business to the next level. In many cases, networking is faster, and less expensive than advertising.

Join Fit For Business for the current workshops and/or think tanks every Friday. Details are on the web-site - www.fitforbusiness.ca.
